What I’ve Been Doing

August 9, 2008 by karenscues

Sorry, for the time it’s been since I last wrote.  It was my choice to work on karenscues.com or work on my blog, even though I’ve run out of material to write about.  Now I have something to write about.

What have I been doing ?  Well, I’ve been reworking my Pool Cues.  I was not satisfied with the catalog pages thumb print pool cues.  So I took the enlargement and connected them together.  Now it’s like turn the pages of a catalog.  Connect any thumb print and open the catalog,

My Story

August 2, 2008 by karenscues

My Story, I have a Viking Pool Cue, it is a beautiful Cue.  It is well balanced and feels right in my hands.  The Pool Cue was, also very expensive, in the over $500.00 range.  I also have one of the free Pool Cases.  It is a hard case that cradles my Cue nicely.  The only problem is the little pocket.  I can only keep one chalk, a scuffer and a roll of quarters in it.

All in all, I can say, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Chalk

Chalk is a catigory in karenscues.com.  You use Chalk in three different ways.  One, to help your Cue glide threw your hands. One, to dry you hands and put a coating betweem you and your Cue.  One, for the tip of your stick because without it you can’t get any english or spin on your ball.

Pool Accesories

July 30, 2008 by karenscues

Have I got accesories.  I have a large variety of Bridges.  They go from the normal expected Bridge to the unusual finger Bridge.  I have Tips in a variety of materials.  Everyone has had a tip come loose or worn one down and needing it replaced.  I have tips and tools to help put them on straight.  I know you want your tip in either the dime or nickle shape and I have Sanders for that and to maintain that shape I have scuffers in either the dime or nickle shape.  You want the chalk to stick to your tip so I have scuffers, a tip pik and tappers.

I have a Talc for your hands to absorb the oils you you have on your skin.  I also have a sliker for your shaft to absorb the oils from your hands.  There are cleaners for your shaft, burnishers for them, too.  Among the other accessories I have are Slippery Powder for your shaft and Slippery papers to make your shaft so smooth it glides across your fingers.  I do carry gloves to a  guarantee smooth stroke, also, they are one size fits all.

The Cue is a Pool Cue.  There are a variety of different Pool Cues.  I have Viking Pool Cues, Cuetec Pool Cues, Sierra Pool Cue, Blaze Pool Cues, and V R Series Pool cues

The Viking Pool Cue is made of Birdseye Maple. With inlays of Ebony, Vermillion, and Snakewood.  With accents of Pearl, Tourqouise, and Snakewood.  The Cutec Pool Cue is a graphite Cue great for breaking.

Sierra Pool Cues

July 27, 2008 by karenscues

A Pool Cue is a work of art.  It can take 3 to 5 years to make these cues.  These cues are inlaid by hand of precious hard woods like Birseye Maple,  Ebony and Vermillion.  If you want a high quality, low production, hand crafted Pool Cues you want a Sierra Pool Cue.
